EYEBROW MICROBLADING FOR CHEMOTHERAPY-RELATED HAIR LOSS

November 11, 2021 Hallie Hyatt

Cancer treatment is challenging and is accompanied by many unfortunate side effects, including hair loss. Head wraps and wigs are commonly used to accommodate loss of hair on the scalp. And now many people are turning to microblading to deal with loss of eyebrow hair. Microblading creates natural-looking eyebrow hairs using hundreds of tiny strokes which implant pigment that resemble individual hairs. As a person’s own eyebrows grow back in, the microblading will gradually fade away. Adorn Cosmetics is proud to offer semi permanent brow treatments for cancer survivors or people undergoing radiation or chemotherapy.

CANCER PATIENTS CAN BENEFIT FROM SEMI PERMANENT LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT

An enhanced lash line improves eye definition for the person who has lost their natural lashes. Permanent cosmetics like microblading and lash enhancement not only help a person feel more comfortable with hair loss, they don’t smudge, wash off, or need to be reapplied daily. That can be one less thing to have to deal with while working to get healthy again.

IS MICROBLADING RECOMMENDED AFTER CHEMOTHERAPY?

We at Adorn Cosmetics can answer your questions about the safety of microblading after chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can affect how a person’s skin reacts to pigments. Because of that, we ask that you receive approval from your doctor before the procedure. Although it is usual to wait two weeks after your last chemotherapy treatment, it is possible in some situations to complete the eyebrow and lash procedures at the same time as chemo. We offer a free consultation to answer your questions and discuss possibilities. Even with the bodily changes that go along with chemo, we can help you achieve a look that is flattering, natural looking, and easy to maintain.

SPECIAL PRICING FOR CANCER SURVIVORS

We understand how much you’ve already gone through when facing a battle with cancer. For that reason all services for anyone undergoing or who has recently undergone chemo all services for microblading, ombre brows, powder brows, eyeliner, or lash enhancement are half off.

If you have any more questions about the microblading procedure, lash enhancement/ liner services, you may find answers on our FAQ page. If you would like to inquire further, please contact Adorn for a free microblading consultation!
